Founder
My name is Devansh Babbar, and I am the founder of Project Safe Choices. I created this project with the goal of helping people make informed, responsible decisions through awareness, education, and accessible resources.
I believe that the choices we make every day can have a meaningful impact on our safety, our communities, and our future. Project Safe Choices was created to provide a platform where people can learn, think critically, and feel empowered to choose safer paths.
Through this initiative, I hope to spread awareness, encourage positive decision-making, and create a space where safety and responsibility are valued. My mission is to continue growing Project Safe Choices into a resource that can support and inspire others.
Project Safe Choices believes that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for prevention. Our mission is to educate, empower, and support young people by providing accurate, evidence-based information about substance misuse, mental health, and healthy decision-making.
We are committed to helping teens make informed choices by sharing trusted resources, promoting healthy lifestyles, and encouraging open conversations without judgment or stigma.
Many young people are exposed to misinformation, peer pressure, and confusing messages about drugs, vaping, alcohol, and other substances. We created Project Safe Choices to provide a place where students, parents, educators, and community members can find reliable information that is easy to understand.
Our goal is not to scare people—it is to educate them. We believe that when young people understand the science behind substance use and know where to find support, they are better equipped to make healthy decisions.
Through our website and educational resources, we strive to:
Share science-based information about substance misuse and prevention.
Explain how drugs can affect the developing teenage brain.
Promote healthy coping strategies for stress and everyday challenges.
Provide resources for students, families, and educators.
Encourage compassion, understanding, and support for those affected by substance use.
We believe everyone deserves access to accurate, trustworthy information.
Helping young people make informed decisions before problems begin can have a lifelong impact.
We approach this topic with empathy and respect. People affected by substance use deserve support, not judgment.
Preventing substance misuse is a shared effort involving students, families, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities.
Project Safe Choices is a student-led project dedicated to expanding awareness, building partnerships, and creating educational resources that help young people make healthier choices.
Together, we can create communities where every young person has the knowledge, confidence, and support to build a healthier future.
